Description
YK 11 retains follistatin (more than DHT - a potent myostatin inhibitor) in muscle cells. YK 11 does this through androgen receptors. Follistatin (also known as activin-binding protein) is an autocrine glycoprotein encoded by the FST gene that is produced in almost all tissues. Its primary function in the body is bioneutralization by members of the TGF-β family of proteins, with a special focus on activin and paracrine hormones.
What makes YK 11 so special is its ability to act as a potent inhibitor of myostatin. If there is a lot of myostatin in the body, it blocks the growth and formation of muscle mass. By blocking myostatin, you can increase your genetic potential and thus build huge muscles. Follistatin production in the body decreases with age, which in turn increases the side effects of myostatin. In addition to inhibiting the growth of muscle mass, myostatin also regenerates cells in adipose tissue. Because the body begins to use its own endogenous proteins and free amino acids to regenerate body fat, eventually the number of muscle fibers decreases significantly with age. This is the real reason why older people become "full and obese" (they accumulate fat) and, on the contrary, lack muscle mass.
